ROME DAY 4

The last day was FREEZING and rainy all day. We bundled up the baby and bought a poncho to drape over his stroller and went out to the Colisseum, Palantine Hill, Roman Forum and Victor Emmanuel Monument. Here are those pics, with Italy's tomb of the unknown soldier.

The pics here are Dexter and Mahlon waiting for me to get ready, plus a cute pic of Dexter laughing as we look across the balcony of our hotel. The last night in Rome we met up with two girls we ran into at the Vatican. One of them worked with Mahlon in the ER. The other is another corpsman stationed in Naples. We had dinner at Hard Rock again, then went back to the hotel. Great trip, but I was definately ready to get back home, and Dex loved being back home where his comfy crib, swing and all his new Christmas toys were.
