AGRIGENTO WITH KENZIE

Dexter and I have acquired a teenager. Her name is Kenzie and she's my friend Kari's 16 year-old sister. Kari and Adam had to go to the states on an emergency visit, so Kenzie is with us for two weeks and we love it! When she arrived, she hadn't been anywhere in Sicily but Catania and has been wanting to see more. And it just so happens that I LOVE being a tour guide. What's even better, her after school sports are over for the year and she has a four day weekend for Veteran's Day. Excellent!

Yesterday we went to Agrigento to the Valley of the Temples.

This is the Temple of Juno:

Juno again:

We took a million picutres with this statue. Here are a couple of my favorites:
He had a backside too!

Temple of Concordia:
Temple of Heracles:

Pan's got Kenzie in a headlock!

When we left the Valley of the Temples it was getting dark and the lights were all coming on. We drove back past the Valley and all the Temples were lit up. It was such a fun day!
