Dexter was getting so excited about all the presents (especially because of all the Yo Gabba Gabba tags on them). He was pointing to them all saying "There he is!"
My Brobee cake turned out cute! I was so happy with it!
Aiden was first to arrive to the party. Dexter would've been happy just to have him come play. They started having fun right away!
They love each other. In fact, here's a conversation I had with Aiden yesterday:
Mia came over next. She loved the ball pit, but her hair didn't!
Ok, they love each other MOST of the time!
Look who else came to the party! It's Elise! This is her first party.
We had sandwiches, chips, pasta salad and fruit.
He was reeeeeeally not happy when everyone started singing!
It was rough when we sat down to open presents too. He just wanted to play and didn't get it that getting presents is fun. He wanted to play with everything we opened, and we had to take it away to open the next one. Poor baby!
Ooh! Look what Grandma and Papa G sent! A radio controlled car! Is it Mahlon's birthday too? Mahlon and Adam's eyes lit up when they saw this one. Sorry guys, it's for the kid!
Dexter's birthday #2 = SUCCESS!

I had finger paints for the kids to play with outside. I also had t-shirts for them to wear as smocks. They loved it! The kids played outside and finger painted for a long time.

Time for cake! Dexter was not happy to stop playing. He was also not happy for everyone to be staring at him!

By the end of the presents Dexter was flipping out wanting to run and play. So we saved our present for after everyone left and we had calmed down a little. It worked out well, because Grandpa and Cookie skyped, so they got to watch him open something! We got him a Matchbox garage and some hot wheels. He was so excited!
