Last night was Dexter's friend Julionna's birthday party. Dex really didn't know where we were going. He only knew he was loaded up in the wagon with lots of stuff and he was excited.
It was a water party. Every kid who showed up got excited and jumped right in...except Dexter.
He was skeptical.
We tried to show him how much fun it is splashing in the water.
Dexter didn't dig the party hat. But he had apparently splashed up a big appetite. He ate his whole dinner.
Here's the birthday girl, Julionna! After she
spit on the cake blew the candles out, Dexter had a piece. Then she opened her presents. Dexter got her a cute outfit and a my little pony.
Dexter enjoyed the blue cake...
...but he loved the ice cream the best.

It was a smurf-themed party (i puffi in Italian). We took a seat by Papa Smurf for dinner.

Too cute for words!! He's getting so big. Maybe he'll get to play with Xander one day.
